We now offer pet sitting and training services
to limited dogs; request form for both at bottom of page. We have been helping several people behind the scenes, and have
decided to openly offer them via our web site. We are willing to offer our services to puppies (Under 1 year of age) and adult
dogs (over 1 year of age) that are under 20 pounds in weight. As part of any in house services, the following items will be
required to be accomplished:
Temperament
assessment in advance
Paperwork
for submission at drop off
-Copy of shot records (proving the dog to be up to date on all vaccinations)
-Copy of Rabies Certificate of Vaccination
-Emergency Contact Information
-Primary Veterinarian's Information
-Medication Frequencies and Dosage (if applicable.
In the case of either service, I do not have a separate job outside of my home so I
will be with your pet at all times.
Behavioral
Modification/Training
Each
of our training services are customized to the specific pet and their owner. Depending on the extent of services, I may require
that your dog be left at my house for me to get a fair assessment of their behavior and progress, or other trainings are most
effective by initially removing the dog from its home setting. Training that requires your animal to be with me for 2-4 weeks
will allow you to come and interact with your dog after the 2 week mark. In the event that in house training is not required,
we can also travel to your house for an evaluation and make weekly progress visits. The behaviors that we work with are:
Housebreaking
Socialization/Self-Confidence
Mannerisms (jumping, barking, leash training, etc)
"Alpha syndrome"
Food Aggression
We do not work with other aggression issues in-house, but will come to you on a case
by case basis. All training costs are based on behavioral issues, and where the training is performed.
Pet Sitting
If you're going on vacation and don't want to board your dog, we can also give your pet a home
setting in your absence for $15 per day. This cost does not include flea and heartworm prevention or food.We can provide these
at an additional costs if needed. The increase in cost is based on what is needed for us to supply; eg a dog that requires
all three will be a higher fee than a dog that we are only providing food for. In either case, these items will be at an "actual
costs" basis.
