General Info
1. All of our dachshund puppies will be a standard price of $700 regardless
of coat, color, or sex, and will stay with us until they are 12 weeks of age.
2. Puppies will leave with their registration paperwork, microchip
inserted and its paperwork, DA2PP vaccinations will be up to date and valid until the puppy is 15 months of age, and will
be spayed or neutered prior to being placed in their pet homes. All of this will be included in your purchase price.
Puppies who are being shipped will be with us an extra week to allow for the incision to completely heal.
3. A nonrefundable deposit of $200 will be required to reserve a puppy of your choice, and final
payment (including shipping, unless other arrangements are made in advance) will be due no later than 10 weeks of age. A
signed copy of our sales contract and a completed puppy application will be required within 7 days of deposit receipt if deposit
is made via PayPal.
The following
items apply to all puppies purchased with full/breeding registration.
1. The price for full registration will be dependent on the litter pedigree and will
start at $1,050 and go up, and will be under the conditions of co-ownership (registered
prior to leaving) as applicable to each purchase.
2. Puppies will leave with their registration
paperwork, microchip inserted and its paperwork, DA2PP vaccinations will be up to date and valid until the puppy is 15 months
of age. Puppies who are receiving health and/or genetic screenings (see #4 below) will be with us for at least 1 week post
final payment as a means of completing screenings and having results prior to the puppy's results.
3. A nonrefundable deposit of $200 will be required to reserve a puppy of your choice, and final
payment (including shipping, unless other arrangements are made in advance) will be due after the puppy has been evaluated
at 10 weeks of age, but no later than 12 weeks of age. A signed copy of our sales contract and a completed puppy application
will be required within 7 days of deposit receipt if deposit is made via PayPal.
4. Genetic Screening on full AKC Puppies:4. Genetic Screening on full AKC Puppies: All full AKC sold puppies will have their patellas
screened prior to leaving. All dapple puppies sold with full AKC will have a CERF exam accomplished before leaving, and this
will be included in your full AKC price. Additionally, a CERF exam on a solid puppy, with a dapple parent, is available to
the prospective buyer under a cost sharing approach, for $50 extra. We will also gladly get a CERF exam on any of our other
puppies while in our care at the total expense of the buyer. In either event, all CERF exam paperwork will be provided with
said puppy at pick up. We have been practicing these policies for some time now, but have just recently decided to add it
to our site. Additionally, any puppy leaving with breeding rights will also have a PRA test via DNA performed and results
received prior to leaving for their new homes.
The
following miscellaneous items apply to all puppies purchased, and is addressed for disclosure purposes.
1. Misc. Puppy Purchase Information:
I will run a public records search on any interested party to ensure that there have been no charges for animal abuse or neglect
against you. I will only be looking for this type of thing; I'm not interested in a seatbelt ticket, etc. This may seem
a bit invasive, but I care about my babies and who is going to be buying them. Also, when your puppy goes home with you, he
or she will be paper trained and have two weeks of house training under his or her belt. Not to imply that the puppy will
be housebroken, but it will understand the concept.
2. Shipping is available for an extra $250.
3. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferrable unless the puppy is determined unfit for sale while in my care.
4. Waiting Lists:
I do not have puppies all the time. If you are interested in buying a puppy from me, please feel free to contact me via phone
or email. If you are sending an email or leaving a message, please include a full name, phone number, email address if you
prefer to be contacted via email, the sex, color(s), and coat in which you would like. I do ask that you please notify me
if you change your mind about an interest in one of my puppies. PLEASE NOTE: Being added to this list does not obligate you
to buy. Once a pregnancy has been confirmed I will contact you with info about each parent (sometimes I use outside males).
After the litter is born, I notify you again if we got what you wanted or provide you with alternatives. Then we go from there.
