Kiyo is our neutered smooth masked black and tan male.
He weighs 9 pounds, and also goes by Kiyo Pet and Prince Kiyo. His favorite hang out is a dog park; he goes NUTS at the
very mention of the word "park". Kiyo was our first dachshund, and still is my baby boy. He's not very photogenic,
but is VERY spoiled, and I've always swore that he should have been a girl. He would have been an excellent mother. When
my real mothers get tired of their motherly duties, he takes over. His motherly take overs include herding the litter, checking
on them when they cry, stimulating them, and sleeping with them at night. I have yet to find the heart to explain to
him why all of the puppies want to nurse him.
I can't say enough about how sweet he is, and how much he is
loved by everyone that knows him. Kiyo and Yana remain at everyone's favorite two; in part because they are the original
two.
