Yana is our long hair black and tan female that
only carries black and tan in regard to color, but also carries recessive e and possibly the piebald gene. She weighs 11 pounds,
and also goes by Yan Yan. Her favorite hangouts are the food bowl and couch. Yana basically sells her own puppies with her
warm welcoming personality. People fall so in love with her that they want to buy her instead of her puppies. She is a dream
come true of a dachshund. Need I say more about her personality? At baby time, she is also known as the "dead beat mom".
She IS a good mother, but we pick on her because she flees her babies every chance she gets, and around three weeks into it,
she hands the mommy duties over to Kiyo. She was our first longhair, and our first female. When our oldest son was an infant
he would crawl around calling Yan Yan, and the nickname has stuck with her since.
